After Madonna, Britney and Gaga, how do you get homos to like you? Garçon Garçon seem to have the perfect solution for that problem. Right on the pulse of time and following trends of masculinity development, the music duo knows the perfect ingredients for producing a successful EP – smooth male vocals, 80’s sound, catchy rhythms, facial and chest hair.

Garçon Garçon are Nathan Mahon (Vocals/Guitar) and Nick Tsirimokos (Synths/Programming) an electro-pop duo from Kings Cross, Sydney. Combining new wave synths with a unique ’80s feeel and a dash of blatant pop, Garçon Garçon write intelligent songs with catchy hooks. Coming from different musical worlds of classical and punk rock, the duo conjure a sound as complex as it is podium busting.

After presenting the demos “Maybe Tonight” and “Take Me Out” (which I thought was a tad too cheesy) and simultaneously testing the ground for their music, the bearded aussies managed to create not only a huge Internet buzz, but also star in many lonely boys’ wet dreams.

A debut EP (adding 3 new songs to the already presented singles, one of which feat. Cazwell) and video marks an amazingly successful start for the duo. Soon, you’ll read my interview with them on Grateful Grapefruit, but first BUY the EP now on iTunes or preview it on their SoundCloud.
