MJÖLK AW 11/12
If you are a devoted follower of this zine you definitely know by now about the existence of a secret back door in the Grateful Grapefruit headquarters leading to a fanatic Ginger Cult. I have to admit, this was the first thing that caught my attention on the new AW 2011/2012 MJÖLK collection. Might sound shallow, but we all know that the fashion industry is not all about inner beauty.
Following up on the MJÖLK video shown recently, here are styled looks from their forthcoming Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. The collection features some of the more interesting knits for the season. While slightly oversized, they fall “flat” on the body, like many of the collection’s tops. Trousers run the range with drop crotch and fitted looks. The only component I’m not quite convinced about is the honeysuckle patent leather. More of them right after the video:
MJÖLK was created in Sweden in 2003 through creators John Clarke (an ex-Central St Martins College of Arts and Design) and Lars Stolen (Danmarks DesignSkole graduate). Ever since they’ve had underground followers and worldwide recognition. For more information and orders: MJÖLK HOMME

Wow misinformation- Mjolk designer is Lars Stoten and it was started in London in 2004. John Clarke was an assistant briefly. I interned there last summer- love love love their work!
