Parisian artist Pascal Lievre loves glitter. At least as a medium in his latest project called GLITTERECTION includings works such as BAD ROMANCE, ‘Il Diabolo Gaga’ and ‘Il Angelo Gaga’. Livre  is infamous for his multi-dimensional, avant-garde photography and this time it is no different (check out past artwork in the gallery below).

Pascal Lièvre is a dynamic artist with projects in various media – paintings, photography, video, installation and performance. His work as a painter started more than ten years ago and culminated with his “museum of shades”. In his paintings, Pascal Lièvre uses Chinese shadows to re-transcribe the outlines of silhouettes.  Using negative space and form, large paintings of classic art and antique Greek statues appear.  The shadows of social problems such as HIV+ patients, undocumented workers are also evoked.

Monsieur Lievre is showcasing his work until the end of October at the Vanessa Quang gallery in Paris.
