Asger Carlsen’s work is wrong and it makes me uncomfortably clumsy. But in the same time it’s hysterically funny. His artwork is like a lie you can easily get away with or a made-up story you don’t have to justify. The art mission of the New York based Danish photographer is to spread confusion: You have no other choice, but to chuckle secretly, feel inconvenient arousal and vicarious embarrassment. His photos are doctored, but I don’t really care about that.

His work has been recently published in the “Wrong” book from Mörel Books. There is actually nothing wrong with it.
