Charlie Engman
Blogging about people my age is weird. Charlie Engman (23) is expert in terms of Japanese and Korean Studies, but you don’t see this in his photographs (yet). He got his BA in both at Oxford University last year. he also tried the The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, but discontinued in 2009. Now he lives and works in New York and misses his puppy, who recently lives and works in Grandma’s house.
His shoot Domestic Diorama uses bodies as decoration and focus on them as an already existing part in an installation of stillness and nostalgia. I think I overdid my interpretation, so just take a look at the shoot:
