But then again this is Berlin Kreuzberg, so we’ll dish.
This Saturday night, fists will fly, sweat will flow, musk will fill the air, muscles will make distract you and aggression will blow your mind. The bell will ding for the regular Joe in Berlin’s own version of a fight club, the Kreuzberger Laienboxgala at Festsaal Kreuzberg. This amateur boxing event is probably the closest you’ll ever get to having your arse kicked in a real boxing ring (or to re-enacting a Brad Pitt movie, for that matter).
Applications to be a fighter are open now, to both men and women – so if you think you have what it takes, go on and give it a go. Scars add character.
